Here in Mission Bay

Fail attempt at a poem.

*******************

Here In Mission Bay

The stars shine
as they do everywhere else.
I've lost all that was mine and more,
and I know every kind of pain
here in Mission Bay.

The sea sparkles
like a blanket of glitters on black.
My tears go down, they trickle
and they surrender to gravity as I do to fate
here in Mission Bay.

The rain falls
like the tears on my face.
The cold is a wall of sadness, infinite walls
and I am crippled by loss and filled with blackness
here in Mission Bay.

The fountain drizzles
The water flows ang gives me momentary peace.
I count my losses, and my heart fizzles.
Finally, I watch as my life disappears before my very eyes
here in Mission Bay.
